I'm finally through the gallery comic. Posting it reminded me of what an undertaking it was, I need to do more projects like that, and I am. I already have an idea for another with more instillation elements. I also finished distilling the 2009 vintage of natural ink. I'm going to start working on a new packaging concept for the ink and finally do a tutorial for it too. In due time, as long as I'm working.

Break for Projects

Wed Dec 16, 2009, 8:04 PM
  • Mood: Zest
  • Listening to: Calvin Harris - This is the Industry
  • Reading: Acting through thought and action
  • Watching: Real Clothes
  • Eating: Spicy Italian sandwich

I'm on break from school, my final undergrad semester starts on January 11th so smooth sailing from here on. I had six classes this past semester, I got 5 B's and 1 A, not too shabby considering I worked full time most of the semester. I have a lot of projects to keep me busy with my gallery group and archiving work from the past two semesters. So expect a lot of catch-up posting during break.

Rising back to the top

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 10:09 PM
  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: DNA - Blond Redhead
  • Reading: Boy - Takeshi Kintano
  • Drinking: Iced Tea infused with honey ^_^
You know the great thing about being at a low point is that there is only one way to go, up. Life is still busy even though I've been unemployed for a couple of weeks. No worrys though, my house is stable, my mate works, he'll cover things for the time being.
My super full school load and job hunting keeps my schedule packed. Not going to go into the details os why I ;lost my job of five years (who ever does) but regardless it just wasn't a good place to work, I was unappreciated and got far less money and respect than I deserved considering the high skill and tenure of my ablity to serve and work there. Now I'm only applying at high volume places down town. I'm int he middle of applying for post-grad jobs in Japan and I don't intend to have to wait table for much longer so I'm going after those big buck. Tough work, but a huge pay off, and probably a 4 day work week. In the mean time I'm jsut going to use the extra time to salvage these grades and get these applications finished.

Rock Bottom

Tue Oct 20, 2009, 5:20 AM

  • Reading: The Japanese Language by Kendaichi

Or pretty damn close. Won't go into detail but life is sucking about as much as it can possibly suck so hopefully things will start to get better soon. At least I have some extra time for posting art.
